Shelter Reservations
Shelter reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance and are available for reservation between April 15th and October 15th, each year. Regardless of the time of use, Shelter Reservations are reserved as full day reservations. Reservations will be available from January 4th- January 31st For Miamisburg Residents only. Non-Resident Shelter Reservations will open February 1.
When making a shelter request online, the request must be approved by staff. You will receive approval by staff within 2 business day of your permit request. Click here to submit your Reservation Request.

Mound Large Shelter

Located at the base of the ancient Adena Indian Mound, the Large Shelter is a historical symbol in Miamisburg. This shelter is a great location for your next family, company or organization picnic. Shelter sits right next to a playground and large open green space. Shelter can hold up to 100 people. Restroom facilities are located across the parking lot for use.
Playbox Rental-(Only Available at the Mound Park Shelter)
Get ready to elevate your next shelter reservation with the Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Playbox – a large, adventure-packed box filled with some of your favorite family yard games! Designed for maximum fun and ease of use, the Playbox includes Can Jam, frisbees, a full-sized cornhole set, bucket ball, kickballs, and even a ball inflator to keep the games going strong.
Accessing the Playbox is simple: just enter the four-digit code provided at the time of your shelter reservation into the combination box on the side to retrieve the key. Use the key to unlock the front padlocks and dive into hours of entertainment. When you're done, neatly return all items, close the lid (by pressing down on the spring-lift side), re-secure the locks, return the key, and don’t forget to scramble the combination!

Mound Rotary Shelter

Located in the southern portion of Mound Park, the Mound Rotary Shelter was built in part thanks to the support of Rotary International. This shelter is adjacent to a playground and is perfect for your next family get together. Restroom facilities are located close by. Shelter can hold up to 30 people.
