What is the Partial Payment Plan?

We offer a partial payment plan for summer camps. Enroll before March 30, and pay 50% of camp fees at the time of registration and the remaining 50% balance will be charged to the card used for payment on May 12. Partial Payment Plan options exist for online registrations only.

What does my camper need to bring?

Campers will need a backpack with the following items; refillable water bottle, self-sustainable lunch, change of clothes in case of a mess, sunscreen that they are able to apply themselves, hat to keep the sun off their face and a positive attitude! Is lunch or other snacks provided?

Campers will need to bring their lunch and a refillable water bottle daily. Lunches should be kept cold on their own for warmer environments as camps move locations both inside and outside throughout the day depending on the activities planned. How are campers transported?

Miamisburg Public School transportation and trained Miamisburg Parks and Recreation staff will safely transport your camper when needed to field trips, before and after care, Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center and when applicable off-site camp locations.

What is ePact?

ePACT is a secure emergency network that we use to collect medical and emergency contact information electronically for summer camp staff to use. How long are the camps?

Camps are Monday through Friday unless otherwise noted, for example there is no camp on July 4th. Full day camps typically run from 9am-3:30pm, half day camps run approximately 3 hours in the morning or afternoon. See our Summer Camp Guide for details on specific information for individual camps!

Where is parent pickup and dropoff?

This will depend on the camp your child is in! Please refer to our 2023 Summer Camp Guide to find where pick up/drop off will be for your camper.

Do you offer before and after care?

Yes, the majority of our camps run from 9am to 3:30pm. We recognize that this can create challenges for family schedules, so we offer before and after care for most camps. Is financial assistance available?

The Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Department offers Youth Scholarships for its various recreation programs. Assistance with registration fees for camps is available for qualified applicants.
