Join Our Team as Park Maintenance This Year at Miamisburg Parks & Recreation!
The City of Miamisburg is looking for hardworking, team-oriented individuals to join our Parks Team for the 2026 season! This position supports the parks division by assisting in maintaining green spaces, cleaning shelters, mowing, and other duties.
Our season runs from mid-March through Mid-October, and we’re seeking reliable team members who enjoy working outdoors.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Position Overview
The Seasonal Park Maintenance position reports to the Parks Division Crew Leader. The following tasks are examples of what the position will be working on; cleaning shelters, parks, greenspaces, operating mowers and small engine equipment, assist in special event setup and tear down, tree removal, string trimming, and other duties assigned. The position requires staff to work up to 40 hours per week in all weather conditions, using physical labor for long periods of time.
What You’ll Do
Park Maintenance will support the Parks Division by:
- Maintaining green spaces, parks, and shelters
- Operating mowers and small engine equipment
- Assist in special events set up and tear down in our parks
- Tree maintenance and other landscaping duties
This is physical, active work that’s service focused and central to the success of the parks and green spaces in our community.
Compensation
Compensation for this position is $14.00 to $20.00 per hour, DOQ. Expected hours per week: 28-40.
