Day Camp Coordinator

The Seasonal Day Camp Coordinator reports to the Program & Camp Coordinator and plays an integral role in the fulfillment of Miamisburg Parks and Recreations’ mission and vision. The Seasonal Day Camp Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and supervision of camp programming areas. Essential responsibilities include program planning, design, and implementation across preschool, youth, and teen populations.

The Seasonal Day Camp Coordinator will be thoroughly committed to Miamisburg Recreation and Parks mission. All candidates should have experience working in a customer-oriented setting, be comfortable delivering positive as well as constructive feedback to staff, and thrive in a teamwork environment. The Seasonal Day Camp Coordinator will develop and/or execute a variety of summer day camp programming including ages 3.5 years to 14 years. A passion for recreation and service to one’s community is an expected element of what qualified individuals will bring to this position.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for this position starts at $13.50per hour.

Requirements

• • Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification (provided by the Parks & Recreation Department)
  • Must be 15 years old or older
