Join Our Team a Day Camp Leader This Year at Star City Camps!
The City of Miamisburg is looking for hardworking, team-oriented individuals to join our Star City Camps Team for the 2026 season! This position supports the operation of camp programs by coordinating and implementing all activities within their assigned camp group.
Our season runs mid-May through early-August, and we’re seeking reliable team members who enjoy working outdoors, working with children, and embracing daily adventures.
Applicants must be at least 15 years old.
Position Overview
The Day Camp Leader is responsible for the execution, facilitation, and safety of youth at our summer day camp programs. Essential responsibilities include day-to-day guidance and leadership of youth in a day camp setting. The Day Camp Leader may assist in the development of, and will execute a variety of youth games, sports, and activities.
What You’ll Do
Day Camp Leaders will support camp staff in a wild variety of tasks, including:
- Providing friendly, helpful customer service campers and guardians
- Oversee the execution of our day camp program
This is hands-on, active work that’s service focused and central to the success of Star City Camp in our community.
Compensation
Compensation for this position is $12.00 to $16.00 per hour, DOQ. Expected hours per week: 28-40.
