Join Our Team as an Athletics Team Member This Year at Rice Field!
The City of Miamisburg is looking for hardworking, team-oriented individuals to join our Athletics Team for the 2026 season! This position supports the daily operations of youth and adult baseball and softball leagues at one of Miamisburg’s most treasured recreation sites—Rice Field.
Our season runs mid-March through mid-October, and we’re seeking reliable team members who enjoy working outdoors, being part of a game-day atmosphere, and serving the local community.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Position Overview
Athletics Team Members play a key role in making sure every game day runs smoothly for players, families, coaches, and spectators. This is a great fit for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working evenings and weekends.
What You’ll Do
Athletics Team Members will support a range of athletic operations, including:
- Providing friendly, helpful customer service to league participants and visitors
- Assisting with game-day logistics and site upkeep
- Light Field preparation (dragging, lining, setting bases, general maintenance)
This is hands-on, active work that’s service focused and central to the success of baseball and softball in our community.
Compensation
Compensation for this position is $12.00 to $16.00 per hour, DOQ. Expected hours per week: 30-40.
