Join Our Team as an Assistant Manager at Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center!

The City of Miamisburg is preparing for years of exciting summers ahead, and we’re looking for up to five motivated, community-minded Assistant Managers to help us open and operate the brand-new Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center!

Although the facility is currently under construction, our Assistant Managers will play a critical role in preparing this new community asset for its grand opening—anticipated for late summer 2026. This is a unique opportunity to help shape operations from the ground up and be part of something special for Miamisburg.

Position Overview

Assistant Managers will work closely with the Aquatic Manager to help build a strong, efficient, and customer-focused operation. This is a leadership role that blends planning, hands-on work, and supervision.

Spring Hours (Now–Mid May):
• 10–20 hours per week
• Focus on pre-season planning and preparation

Summer Hours (Mid May–End of Season):
• 20–40 hours per week
• Hours may vary depending on final opening timeline for the new facility

What You’ll Do

As a Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center Assistant Manager, you will:

• Help develop standard operating procedures for the new facility
• Assist with organizing operational plans, logistics, and daily processes
• Play a key role in hiring, training, and supervising seasonal employees
• Support the Aquatic Manager in all aspects of facility readiness and operation
• Contribute to creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for staff and guests
