Star City Concert Series: Band of Flight
Join us in the newly renovated Riverfront Park this year at The Ginkgo amphitheater to enjoy multiple different types of live music. The new music area include tiered, bench seating built into the levee wall, wide sidewalks surrounding the stage for bikes and wheelchair access, new restroom area, larger parking lots, upgraded sound and lighting, larger stage, and giveaways at every concert. Bring a chair to sit in the grass or spread out on the built in benches with friends and family this summer and enjoy the sound of live bands. Riverfront Park also has a new playground, swinging benches overlooking the Great Miami River, and a splash pad area for the kids to play in.
The United States Air Force Band of Flight provides quality music and entertainment for a wide variety of official military, recruiting and community relations events. The band is stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH which is operated by the 88th Air Base Wing under the command of Col Christopher Meeker. The 15-member organization serves the state of Ohio exclusively and is managed by CMSgt David McCormick.
