Overseeing and maintaining two traditional day camps, preschool camp, and numerous specialty camps and traveling camps. This professional position is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating day camps, recreation programs and events for assigned populations or targeted activity areas. With a focus on day camps for preschool through youth, the Day Camp Director is responsible for research of opportunities, collecting and analyzing data, incorporating public input and evaluation, managing camp and area budgets and ensuring excellent customer service within the day camp programs. This seasonal position works a variety of hours and the schedule varies by the camp offering and availability. Typical schedule is on average 15-25 hours January -April and 35-40 hours per week during the Day Camp Season (May-August). Pay Scale: $10.80-$15.80/hour.
